Cerknica Fishing Association is non-profit organization which was founded on 1 st July 1956 by nature lovers and fishing enthusiasts. Its purpose was fish rescuing during dry seasons of intermitted Lake Cerknica. Today, the Association has 170 members of which 50 are younger fisherman.
